Movie Review: Safe House

Reynolds and Washington at their finest. Simply a splendid movie. You have to watch this one. I can’t imagine this being an actually plausible situation in the real world: safe houses being operated by custodians who are fresh CIA recruits trying to make a name for themselves. But, hey, someone’s got to do it, right? Do we really use our tax dollars to have people sitting around like this day in and day out, just in case we get a spy to interrogate? Seems like a terrible expense.

The fighting and the gun play in this movie I thought was first rate, though with all that build up through the movie, the ending was kind of a let down.

But I’ll let you be the judge.
