Now that’s how you go out with a bang – got up this morning and just sat down and started burning up the keyboard. It’s only 6:45am so I knocked out my goal in thirty minutes, maybe less. Now if I could just do that today with my editing. Maybe I’ll try to do it right after this post, get it out of the way.

So the weekend is coming, thank God I don’t have a lot of construction to do. If I’m able to get the trim for the doors and windows I’ll be working on that this weekend, otherwise I’ll be working on a new software program, trying to figure it out before the evaluation period expires. This program is newer and does not cost for technical support or updates. Upgrades are a fraction of the cost of the current program I use. There is a limitation of 600 clients in the system, but this means I’ll just have to do a better job of clearing the dead wood from the system. I think purging everyone who hasn’t spent money here in the last year is a good way to prune anyway. I can tie it into a retention attempt, maybe send them a coupon or give them a free night, something like that. We’ll see.

Katie is right at the edge and will be quickly falling over, I think. She has a lifeline that she things is going to save her, but I don’t believe it will. Once that fails, things are going to get very serious, very quickly. She’s in way over her head. So is her friend, though I’m not sure what to do with her little witch friend. I do like her, though. She reminds me of someone, but I just can’t put my finger on it.
