Movie Review: Let Me In

This was the movie that introduced me to little innocent Abby, who seems quite peculiar from the very start. The way she carries herself walking in front of the old man when first arriving at the apartment complex. All the yelling from their apartment. The bare feet. The cardboard and tin-foiled windows. But, Abby is not any ordinary vampire, either, is she?

I think my favorite aspect of this movie is how she comes to live so vividly, brutally. First in the foot tunnel. Then in the bathroom. So innocent looking. So deadly. It’s no wonder Owen chooses her over the miserable life he has now. She becomes his savior.

This is a dark movie, much better, I think, than the book. Definitely on the must watch list.
