This is, so far, working pretty good. It is not yet 10am and I’m already finished with both my writing and editing quotas for today. Now I can do whatever I want to do without guilt or anxiety. I’m actually enjoying the writing process again. I almost didn’t want to finish, though, I want to make sure I don’t overdue it and burn myself out. I want to be a turtle here, slow and steady wins the race. I think I’ll have to do one more cursory pass over IN THE MEADOW before I can finally release it. I’ll be glad when I can put that one to bed. I wrote the first draft for it exactly four years ago. Hard to imagine. It was 2009 when I finished the first draft on SACRED THE CIRCLE. I sure hope I can get the kinks worked out so the process doesn’t take so long.
