I was looking forward to this season premiere, after having watched the entire five previous seasons back to back, in a crazy blood lust induced marathon.

Hands down, my favorite character is back in Damon. Well, I also have a soft spot for Caroline and Alaric.

Not sure where Damon and Bonnie are exactly. It doesn’t look like any afterlife I would conjure up, but who am I, right? All I can say is, bad move on Elena’s part, for trying to wipe poor Damon out of her mind.

And when exactly did Alaric become a vampire? I don’t remember that at all. But, hey, I can go with it.

Anyway, this season should prove quite moving, if they do it right. We’ll have to see how things work out.
