Projects

These projects are a culmination of my research in various subject areas. Most will manifest in book or online course form, but others will produce alternative documents and artifacts, such as white papers, articles, blog posts, etc.

Quoting the Old Testament Project

This project was completed several years ago, 2004 to be exact. It was born out of my exposure to the KJV Only controversy, and my struggle to determine what it means to say “the bible” and attempt to grapple with the meaning of the overall text. My motivation was to determine which Old Testament text was predominately used by the New Testament church, and also how that text was used – how the New Testament believers approached their own Scriptures. I discovered some fascinating insights, and satisfactorily answered most of my initial questions. Unearthing the study documents once again to include on this website, I chose to re-analyze the data and form independent conclusions.
