As with everything I’ve every seen or read from Stephen King, I’m left with mixed feelings about the tv series Under the Dome. The greatest negative I have about this show is the poor acting that often crops up. I’m not sure if it’s the actors themselves or the terrible writing behind them, but something is definitely off. Second, there doesn’t seem to be an actual plot to the story, just people making up excuses to run from one end of the dome to the other and back again.

I will admit, I do tune in every week to watch the latest installment, so there has to be something to it. But, that’s a far cry from a show like The Walking Dead, which splashes as an instant classic. All in all, though, Under the Dome is at least watchable. If you have nothing else to do, enjoy.
