This is my second day without writing or editing anything. I’m hoping that I can pick it up and make a field goal tomorrow, really knock it out of the park. Otherwise, I might as well just give this all up and do something better with my free time. If I can’t keep a consistent writing schedule, I’m really just wasting my time here.

What I may consider doing is giving myself two days off each week (not consecutively), but then bumping my daily writing goal back up to 4000 words. By doing so I not only give myself two breaks throughout the week, but I also bring in an additional 6000 words each week. I’ll have to think about this.

(I wrote 588 and edited 1501 words “the other day”)
