Welcome to Isaac Hunter’s Official Online Book Club! I’m glad you found your way here. Let me take a few minutes to give you the lay of the land, explain how this book club works, and what you can expect. There is absolutely no cost to join the club and nothing you need to buy—well—except for books.

But who doesn’t like buying books?

How the Book Club Works

1. We will be reading one book per month which will exclusively be fiction, from a variety of genres, but with a special focus on supernatural suspense. We will be reading some of Isaac’s books throughout the year, but we will also be reading books from other authors as well. While books will ultimately be selected by Isaac each month, if you have any suggestions, please send them to us by using our contact form.
   
2. Isaac will post three reminder posts on the blog. These three posts will be reminders about the reading, encouragement to finish that month’s book, and also one or two discussion questions to consider while reading. Please answer the discussion questions in the comments for that particular post.
   
3. At the end of the month, Isaac will post a final Summary and Discussion post, officially ending that month’s reading. He will provide a summary of the book (spoilers), discussion questions to consider and answer in the comments, and the notice of the book selected for the next month. Please particpate in the comments section of this Summary and Discussion post.
   
4. Repeat for twelve months to finish the year!
   

Official Rules of the Isaac Hunter’s Book Club

1. This Book Club will essentially be asynchronous, yet, it will have a month by month deadline.
   
2. Please be respectful in the comments and refrain from harsh, overly critical, or abusive or foul language.
   
3. Respect each other’s opinions. Participants should listen attentively and respect different viewpoints, even if they disagree. Healthy debate is good, but discussions should focus on the book’s merits, not personal attacks.
   
4. Please stay on topic when commenting on any of the posts. Off topic posts are subject to be deleted.
   
5. Be mindful that not everyone reads at the same pace. When commenting on the update posts, please avoid revealing crucial plot twists or endings without a clear spoiler warning.
