In our next session, we’re exploring what the Bible actually says. What is the story of the Bible from the first page of Genesis to the last page in Revelation? Is the Bible a random collection of ancient documents that has many different messages? Or is it a unified whole, with a single message?
Watch the short video, and spend some time thinking about the discussion questions below. Then come to the group discussion ready to discuss.
And bring any questions you might have, also.

1️⃣ The video shows people making bad choices over and over—why do you think that keeps happening? How does this apply to us today?
2️⃣ What did the video say about Jesus that felt important or different?
3️⃣ The video presents the Bible as a unified story. Does that idea make sense to you? Why or why not?
4️⃣ Did anything in the video confuse you or make you think differently?

1️⃣ We read John 1-5 so far. How much did you get done? A little or a lot is perfectly fine.
Instructions on Reading:
1️⃣ 3 Highlighters of different colors.
2️⃣ Pick a book in the Bible and start reading.
3️⃣ Highlight with one color anything you agree with, a second color anything you disagree with, and a third color for anything that brings up a question. Write out all your questions before our session.
4️⃣ Bring your list(s) with you to the meeting.
