Yesterday I had a big, big blunder. I screwed around most of the morning, managing only 500 words edited, before I went out and played around with my new kayak trailer, spent some time talking with neighbors, even watched a few more tv shows than I should have.

Then, as the night drew on, I suddenly found myself stuck in an early dinner with family and I didn’t sit back down at my computer until well after 9pm. I did manage to get my editing done, but had to leave the writing goal for this morning.

After getting up, I quickly got to work with my daily routine, then jumped right into my writing and knocked out a thousand words before 10am. So, here I am. Finished my goal for last night to keep the streak alive, but now it’s after 10am and I still have today’s quota to fill.
